BUP Finland wishes Happy Holidays

It's time to wish Happy Holidays! BUP Finland, as a part of the Centre for lifelong learning at Åbo Akademi University, takes part in the Good Holiday Spirit campaign, with a donation that supports low-income families with grocery vouchers. The campaign is organised by the Mannerheim League for Child Welfare and the Finnish Red Cross, together with the broadcasting company Yle. The Good Holiday Spirit campaign is in its 27th year in 2023. Enjoy the holidays and let's get back to BUP business soon when 2024 is here!

After the year 2022, when BUP both started to build up its face-to-face activities after the pandemic and needed to restrict, adjust, and adapt the collaboration and overall work and routines due to the war in Ukraine, the year 2023 was more predictable. The Baltic University Programme (BUP) and Klaipėda University, proudly present BUP Science and Sail 2023, a summer school with the focus on the Baltic Sea Environment. The summer school will take place between 3-9 July in Klaipėda, Lithuania and the waters of the Baltic Sea. Accepted students will be studying the sensitive Baltic Sea Environment, both on land and at sea with leading experts from across the region.
