A course onboard a sailing ship

The SAIL for Teachers journey lasts for up to 7 days, in Baltic or nearby European waters. The start and end point differs from year to year. The course has both a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part consists of lectures, presentations, workshops and teamwork on Education for Sustainable Development. The practical part focuses on the teamwork of the daily life on board a tall ship: sailor’s duties such as night watches, furling sails and kitchen duties.
