The Baltic University Programme (BUP) and Klaipėda University, proudly present BUP Science and Sail 2023, a summer school with the focus on the Baltic Sea Environment. The summer school will take place between 3-9 July in Klaipėda, Lithuania and the waters of the Baltic Sea. Accepted students will be studying the sensitive Baltic Sea Environment, both on land and at sea with leading experts from across the region. Parts of the summer school will take place onboard Klaipėda University’s sailing vessel Brabander, sailing the southeastern part of the Baltic Sea, while conducting tests and collecting samples. The Baltic University Programme’s Coordinating Secretariat at Uppsala University and Kaunas University of Technology, proudly present the BUP Student Conference 2023. This year, focus is on the topic Sustainable production and consumption: A circular economy perspective. The conference is held on May 9-12. The conference is free of charge and applications are open for students studying at bachelor and master level at The Baltic University Programme’s participating universities. In total 80 students from BUP participating universities will be selected to take part. This is to inform all BUP colleagues about the current situation for the Baltic University Programme (BUP) as an organisation in light of the war in Ukraine. The BUP strongly condemns Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and offers our wholeheartedly support to those colleagues and students most affected by the war. Become a BUP Student Ambassador for the spring 2022

The BUP Coordinating Secretariat calls for students and PhD students at BUP Participating Universities, who are interested in becoming Student Ambassadors during the spring term of 2022. The role of Student Ambassadors is to cooperate with the Participating Universities to serve as a contact person between their home university and its students and the BUP Coordinating Secretariat in Uppsala as well as the National Centra, in Finland at Åbo Akademi University. The BUP Coordinating Secretariat calls for students and PhD students at BUP participating Universities, who are interested in becoming Student Ambassadors 2021. The Baltic University Programme aims to develop its communication and cooperation strategy with each of its 89 participating universities all over the Baltic Sea Region. Would you like to work extra on the side of your studies, digitalizing lectures and developing interactive online courses? Baltic University Programme is hiring e-tutors for it's digitalization project. The applicant needs to be a student or PhD student at a BUP participating university, with the intention of maintaining the status as a student/PhD Student for the full year of 2021.
