The BUP Teachers’ Course starts in September 2022

BUP Teachers’ Course, workshop in Lviv, Ukraine in March 2020. The BUP Teachers’ Course will be arranged again starting in the autumn 2022. The aim is to better integrate the UN Sustainable Development Goals into the teaching, courses and study programmes in higher education. The emphasis is on teaching methodology by e-learning and two workshops. This is to inform all BUP colleagues about the current situation for the Baltic University Programme (BUP) as an organisation in light of the war in Ukraine. The BUP strongly condemns Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and offers our wholeheartedly support to those colleagues and students most affected by the war. Reunion of the BUP Teachers’ Courses 2017–2020

The core of the teachers’ courses has been the work called The Change Project. I.e. reshape a currently existing course or study program towards the concepts of the Sustainable Development Goal #4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. The webinar series Implementing sustainability at universities is now finished – at least for the spring 2021. The four webinars discussed how we can implement sustainability at universities in respect of teaching, research and campus greening. The whole series can be watched on Baltic University Programme's youtube channel. The webinar series arranged by BUP Finland together with Baltic University Programme was popular, with ca a hundred participants in each webinar. Baltic University Programme (BUP) is organizing a webinar series where these topics are discussed.
