Welcome to the online course: Introduction to Education for Sustainable Development (5 cr). The course is for students and educators who want to: • Understand ESD and how it broadens the holistic and interdisciplinary understanding of sustainability. • Understand how competencies like critical thinking, future scenarios skills and collaborative decision-making are promoted by ESD. • Understand the role of ESD in both formal and informal learning. • Get an insight of the state of ESD at the own university. The BUP Teachers’ Course starts in September 2022

BUP Teachers’ Course, workshop in Lviv, Ukraine in March 2020. The BUP Teachers’ Course will be arranged again starting in the autumn 2022. The aim is to better integrate the UN Sustainable Development Goals into the teaching, courses and study programmes in higher education. The emphasis is on teaching methodology by e-learning and two workshops. The course also includes a project part and a possibility to publish the result of the project in a peer review journal.
