Welcome to the online university course: Introduction to Education for Sustainable Development (5 cr).

The course is for students and educators who want to:
• Understand ESD and how it broadens the holistic and interdisciplinary understanding of sustainability.
• Understand how competencies like critical thinking, future scenarios skills and collaborative decision-making are promoted by ESD.
• Understand the role of ESD in both formal and informal learning.
• Get an insight of the state of ESD at the own university.

Time: 19 September–11 December 2023.
Place:  Online.

Fee: Free of charge for staff and students at BUP participating universities.
